Dark timber panels, floor-to-ceiling gold drapes and oversized low pendant lighting define the mood in the bar and restaurant. A huge mirrored wall, Italian black chandeliers, leather and slate add luxury and drama. Original parquet flooring and arches adds a touch of romance to the Parlour Room adjacent to Oaks Deli. Private dining facilities for up to 30 guests are available in our exclusive East Wing - ideal for dinner parties, christenings or just drinks and canapes. As you move from the grand elegance of the main restaurant into the intimate Panelled Room the restaurant opens out onto a spacious and sheltered patio garden surrounded by trees and shrubs, ideal for al fresco dining.

The Vine Shop is a locally owned and operated speciality wine shop located in Ware, Hertfordshire. We exist to provide our customers with the highest quality regional and international wine selection, while providing a comfortable, non-intimidating environment for the less knowledgeable wine enthusiast to learn about and select the perfect wine for any occasion.
The Vine gastro pub on Ware High Street, Hertfordshire, has set a new standard in combining pub with grub. Lovely plush leather sofas, neutral colours and blonde wood flooring set the scene for great food using ingredients sourced, where possible, from local suppliers nearby. The beers come courtesy of small independent breweries, but the wise diner would do better to engage with the wine list, which is long, varied and interesting, with a welcome emphasis on the collective mix.
